Cylindrically Curved Washers exhibit the most uniform spring constants over the widest range of deflection. Cylindrically Curved Washers function properly when the formed portions that make contact are free to slide. Space must be provided for this expansion of the outside diameter as the washer is compressed. The maximum height should be less than one-half of the outside diameter. Cylindrically Curved Washers cannot be stacked to increase travel.
